Want to get an modified version (MOD APK) of a file installed on your PC or mobile?
Sometimes mobile security doesn’t allow this directly until you give it permission. Ever wondered what an APK is?
Imagine this: you have a package format like .zip. You click or extract it, and it splits into different parts that make up the original file.
Now, an APK is similar. It’s like when someone makes an app or game, combining loads of bits and pieces. That combo becomes a single file, the APK. When you install it, the APK breaks down into its parts so the app or game can run.
APK stands for Android Application Package, by the way.
But before you install, there’s a bit of setting up to do on your mobile. You’ve got to give permission for third-party apps to download APKs smoothly.
Here’s a step-by-step:
Head to settings on your mobile.
Find where you can allow installation of unknown apps & games. It might be in different spots on different mobiles.
- For Samsung: Setting > Apps > My Files > Install Unknown Apps > Click ‘Allow From This Source’.
- For iPhone: Setting > Shortcuts > Allow Untrusted Shortcuts (if it’s not clickable) > Go to Shortcut on Home Screen > Create New Shortcut > Add Action > Web > Filter Articles > Click ‘Next’ > Name Your Shortcut > Click ‘Done’. Then go back to Setting > Shortcuts > Allow Untrusted Shortcuts (Now clickable).
Now you’re set! Go ahead, download that car parking game for some practice.
